As a member of a newly formed marketing team, I effectively collaborate with other departments to ensure streamlined and efficient processes for completing projects. My role also consists of creating media on various platforms such as email, social media, and internal communications. I continually design and implement numerous templates to maintain a consistent brand image.
Datasheets
Page layout is one of my favorite parts of graphic design. So, when Kelvix presented their datasheet problem, I was excited to join the company and create a visually cohesive template that could work with various types of information across hundreds of diverse products.
Installation Instructions
After developing a strong template for product datasheets, I prioritized revamping the product installation instructions keeping with the same visual language. I noticed that previous installs were difficult to understand due to perspective changes. To resolve this inconsistency, I made an isometric grid in Illustrator. This grid made certain that any product I drew would come out at the same viewpoint and scale.
Social
I also helped develop a company voice for external communication. Using this voice, I designed emails, as well as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram posts for Kelvix.
Other Design Contributions
Other notable design projects I worked on at Kelvix include: crafting a new Logo for an acquired company called Luxium, designing an interactive trade show booth, creating retractable banners for smaller trade shows, and contributing to a team that migrated Kelvix's old website to its current redesigned minimalistic form.
Non-Design Contributions
I am a proactive person and a problem solver. Noticing several interdepartmental information-flow bottlenecks, I developed extensive excel databases to collect and archive important information. Additionally, I organized the company’s server, completely redesigned its structure, and implemented document naming standards and filing protocols. Most notably, I am a member of Kelvix party planning comity, where I tackle streamer color choices and catering decisions.
