PDX OKTOBERFEST
Portland Oktoberfest is an event for the Portland community that integrates German tradition with contemporary PDX brewing. I chose to speak to my target audience through print with two posters designs using wild posting style.
One
The first poster pays tribute to Oktoberfest’s German roots with thick black lettering and a humorous play on a traditional biblical reference.
Two
In contrast, the second design erects the form of a modern stein, employing cutting-edge design techniques.
For merchandise, I constructed a Bavarian pretzel using hand-drawn typography.
