Hi, I’m Josiah, a graphic designer native to the Portland area. I am currently available for freelance under my design entity, Via Josiah.
My greatest asset is my appetite to discover. I believe in continually cultivating my skills using various resources such as Udemy courses, YouTube tutorials, and most importantly, by utilizing the vast network of graphic designers I’ve surrounded myself with. My drive to always improve pushes me to learn new creative mediums regularly: from charcoal reduction art to meticulous hand lettering techniques. Skills are just one aspect of my evolution; I am always looking to broaden my perspective by saturating myself in unfamiliar environments. I have now backpacked my way through 25 countries, widening my understanding and fueling my ambition.
These practical experiences, along with a varied professional background—displayed in greater detail in my resume—makes me exceptionally grateful to have found a field of work in which I am naturally gifted and genuinely enjoy.
